It seems like there is no end to what is possible with a strictlycookies, cookie jar. Every month I try to capture the flavors, textures and general essence of an existing dessert, that you already know and love. This time,I drew inspiration from one of Jamaica's most loved pastry treat. Why it took me this long ? I'm not sure, but trust me, it was worth the wait.
So with that said, We are starting the year off with the Gizzada Cookie Jar.
What's in it? My signature soft chewy ginger cookies, homemade, hand gratered, real coconut goodness in the form of gizzada filling, a creamy nutmeg cream cheese and of course we can't forget the pie crust sprinkled throughout.
